Much better performance from a vastly more experienced team tonight. The Arsenal defence has been as bad tonight as ours was on Sunday and we've been unlucky not to be two or three goals to the good.

Suarez has been exceptional getting one and showing some sublime skill and vision, that pass to Sturridge was world class and really deserved a goal.

On the flip side the way we are set up has left Sturridge a little bit isolated at times but if we can get the right service to him in the second half their defence is there to be carved through.

Our defence has been solid up to know but there is still a worrying tendency to over play the ball at the back and it again seems to be that the team are playing themselves in to corners that they needn't be and that could be costly.

Good first 45 though.

come on ref - he handled that twice - definite penalty
