Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is likely to be involved after a suspected hamstring injury was diagnosed as muscular fatigue.

Alexis Mac Allister, Diogo Jota and Andrew Roberton are all set to return at some point in the new year.

Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny is close to recovering from a hamstring problem but Jorginho remains a doubt.

Thomas Partey, Jurrien Timber, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Fabio Vieira all remain long-term absentees.

This is going to be a tough one, Arsenal are a good side with players like Martineli, Saka, Jesus, Rice all capable of causing trouble.
I feel it is going to be a cagey affair, Arsenal will not park the bus so that should work to our advantage.

I’d go as far as to say if we don’t win this we won’t win the title, psychologically I think this game is that big, I don’t think we’’ll have  the belief to go on and win the title unless we can turn over our main rivals at home

Huge game. I hope the lads and crowd are up for it.

I’m sure City will do their usual charge second half of the season as they usually do ( with a little help from the refs where needed) so we need as many points as possible, home games need to be won. Martinelli was a real nuisance in both games we played last year and they seemed to target Trent, Martinelli had his number. We need to address that tonight as we need Trent helping the attack rather than helping the defense.

We also need Anfield rocking, our twelfth man.

So much on the line for this one. Will need every player to show up with their best game.

Win this and we are mentally set fair for a real go at another premiership title.

Penalty or not, we've been garbage all over the pitch.

Slow-mo just show a dead cert penalty for Odegaard scooping the ball with his hand inside the penalty area, but no VAR intervention. WHY???

crossing balls into the box more in hope than actually picking out a player, it's been the same for so many games
