ok i will say from the start that Hicks will still be at the club

Rafa will buy two players that we know the names of.

Rafa will buy 4 young kids that we dont know.

Rafa will sell five players.

Alonso will leave the club.

Gerrard will get a slap on the wrist for the pub fight and get told to work with young kids.

something will come out about Carragher and about he was not happy with something in the club.

We will see work start on the new ground.

Bit harsh why close the thread  :p .

Anyway.

1) Hicks will get fatter untill his cowboy hat looks like Stan laurels.

2) We will buy 3 top attacking players plus 1 Defender.

3) Rafa will think of new ways to p1ss of Ferguson.

Id probably agree with all those points Lakes. Regarding signings I don't care who we sign as long as they are good enough to do the job and not 2nd rate choices due to us not being able to afford our first choices. We came this close before with GH and let it slip by signing cack so we must not make the same mistake again. Rafa must be allowed to spend BIG!

In the spirit of Lakes' first post, here goes:

1) We will sign one £15m+ attacking player (not necessarily a striker as he may move Kuyt up front).

2) We will sign a right back.

3) One 1st team player will get sold (Dossena, Babel, Benny).

4) Lesser players will be sold on the cheap as usual (Dossena again, Degen, youth players).

5) By August we will have at least 3 threads discussing whether Rafa is good enough

Rafa shaves off the lower half of his goatee, leaving only a glorious Freddie Mercury-esque moustache so he can perform We are the Champions live at Wembley after we win the treble

We sign Tevez, Barry and Glen Johnson and sell Alonso, Babel, Lucas plus a few more fringe players.

There will be a huge bid for Torres which will be spun around and around by the media but nothing will come of it.

Work will still not begin on the new stadium.

By July there will be some serious thread wars going on as people are bored and itching to get going with the new season.

1) Tonyeh will still be going on about Robbie Keane at every opportunity

2) Rafa will sign half a dozen players and we'll be moaning about most of them months into the season

3) Some on here will STILL be b*tching about Kuyt who will probably STILL be one of our best performers

4) We'll still be drawing too many games, unable to break down stubborn defences - "resistance is not futile"

5) Sir Roger will still be wumming away, at least he thinks he's clever if noone else does...............

6) There will be lots of squabbles from the usual suspects

7) fergie and Rafa will also continue their petty sniping

8) We'll play Chelsea, Man Utd or Arsenal by the sixth fixture of next season

9) Man Utd will get their usual easy route to the CL final

10) All the usual suspects will continue to disrespect the ref, show dissent on the pitch, commit dirty fouls and get away with it. ie the FA will do what it says on the tin

11) The morons of football will come up with half-baked schemes to make English football English, kick the Premiership out of Europe, bring the old infirm to the Premiership, cap wages etc etc and nothing much will actually change

12) There will be 1,397 more articles about Alonso leaving Anfield, the media seem determined for that one to go through.

13) Admin will set up a new matchday forum with Bermenstein the only one allowed to start threads in it and Judge will have a hissy fit and start matchday threads in the general discussion just to be typically awkward

14) S@int will finally get his knighthood for services to football forumry to go with his S@inthood.

15) Alonso will hit the bar five times as often as he hits the back of the net, Babel will hit the stands five times more often than he hits the target

16) Pepe will get his golden glove back off the undeserved

17) Newcastle fans will do what Leeds fans have done since sinking to league one, go on about how big a club they are, how playing them is everyone else's cup final and then just about scrape into the play-offs before fluffing their lines and staying put

18) Shearer will end up changing channels and working for "The Championship" on ITV so he can see his beloved side

19) Carra will be so slow and his tackling not timed as well as three seasons ago, that Rafa will call Lawro out of retirement to replace him

20) Andrei Voronin will stay at Anfield, score 13 goals next season and be one of next season's scapegoats for whatever needs one

my one predition, we will start our first game of the season away from home and the other three will be at home
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

The only thing i'm going to say is....Man City will be linked with every top player under the sun...and end up with Babel.
