yes i would agree with you ballack would be a great buy as money should be no object now, but dont be suprised if rafa makes a bid for the spanish sensation joaquin and rafa has often spoken of how he would love to have joaquin in his team, with about 50 million to spend watch this space...

Gerrard for kaka swap deal, I would sh.it my pants if that happened. ( Liverpool would get the better end of the deal no doubt! )

Rafa has hinted that he will/wants to sign players with premiership experience...with that in mind I would like.... (please Sir)

SWP (unlikely, but balls to it, let's offer 15 million plus Baros)
Upson (great partnership with JC)
Duff (hopefully not as part of an SG to chelsea deal)
Owen (would have him back tomorrow, but more likely he'll stay at RM with Stevie)
Crouch (for less than £5m as "another option" for those away games at Birmingham and the like that we keep losing)

and if we go overseas...

Kuyt (or however you spell it)
Ballack
Owen Hargreaves

Should be an interesting couple of weeks to come

Vicente what a player I'm sure we could get him for about 15milion plus by buying him we can get rid of Kewell and have a party

Cos Upson is cheaper than Ledley King and seems unsettled at Birmingham.  He wants Euro football to stand a chance of getting to the world cup.

I think he'd be a good signing for us.

alonso_14 at last someone who knows a good player, joaquin would be amazing for us, he is a cross between robben and duff he would change everything, ps when england last played spain he back heeled the ball past the england defence and left them for dead...believe the hype.

agreed joaquin is outstanding watched him play many a time not many wingers are better than him. He is class i dont know why a huge club havent come in for him yet. if we manage to get him at the club then he would improve the squad a hell of a lot on his own but problem is he would be very expensive, we may b able to get him but he would take up most of our money from gerrards sale He would be the signing of the century for us
