Can't be sure ...as it is from koptalk.

But 10 million extra cash per year and with a shrewd boss like rafa = quality signings.

£30million deal for Liverpool

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez will be handed a massive transfer kitty in the summer as a result of the £30million kit deal with adidas.

The kit manufacturer will pay Liverpool £10million-a-year over the next 3 years with a a further option of a 10-year deal once that deal concludes in 2009.

adidas and Reebok will merge in a £2.1billion deal later this year and if they take up the 10-year option in 2009, Liverpool should net around £130million as a result. For now though the club can budget for at least £30million and the majority of that will be handed to Rafa for player purchases.

Although the deal will be welcomed by many fans, it's worth reminding you that Nike pay Manchester United £23million-a-year to be associated with them. With Liverpool finally on the up though, it will be interesting to see what happens in 2009.
