Assuming the 2 players Rafa was talking about signing this week are Milito and Crouch, I would do the following :

Sign Milito, dump Crouch for Kuyt (seeing as we have the extra money). Then we should have about £30m left from the Gerrard sale. Sell Baros for about £8m. Sign Aimar for about £10m, Wright-Phillips for £15m, Bridge for £3m and Hargreaves for £3m. Leaving us with about £5m change

wright-philips wont come cheaper than £20m, but we can still afford it

Assuming we sell Gerrard to Chelsea, I would've thought we can come to some agreement with them to pull of of bidding for Wright-Phillips (and given that they are probably going to spend a further £30m on Gilardino, they will surely pull out of signing him anyway). That would mean £15m should seal the deal.

SWP is pretty close to moving to chelsea. I dont think Aimar will cope with the physical side of the premiership. Should we sell Gerrard to Real, they probably wont persue robinho, so we can use the £30 mill plus to bring him to anfield.

no way, you're both wrong we need to spend 35 million on Teddy sheringham from the Hammers!!

Only 2 situation will arise

for chelsea i dont think there are any players that Rafa would like perhaps with the exception of wayne bridge

I doubt he will go there but LFC will certainly do them no favours and take no less than £40

In the case of Real Madrid they could just as easily afford to pay £40-£50 mil cash but real possess several players that Rafa would like. Including Cambiasso, under 21 star Juanfran, Raul
