Sorry AB, I am not quite clear as to what you think we need on the road   ???

We lack confidence on the road, instead of controlling the game we are trying to get back in it everytime we're on the road.

At home our confidence and determination is greater and thats why we win, on the road its a different story.

The problem away from home is that Rafa is trying to play a game where we keep the ball and frustrate the other side, but our players aren't comfortable with this, and simply don't possess enough quality to do this.

At home we play with more tempo and take the game to the vistors and the performances have been much better.

it doesn't help that benitez keeps switching systems and personnel depending on whether we are at home or away, pick a system and stick to it. it's the only way players will get used to playing with each other.

Yeah but I really cannot see what we need on the road, you are saying that on the road we lack confidence, and on the road we need to replace this quickly, because on the road we are losing games, but on the road we are not as strong as at home, therefore on the road we need more confidence, so that on the road we will more games, which means that if we win on the road then our confidence will grow on the road so we can play better on the road................Have I got it ??????.................or do you need to explain why we are playing terribly on the road, because on the road we lack confidence, and on the road we need to replace this quickly, because on the road we are losing games, but on the road we are not as strong as at home, therefore on the road we need more confidence, so that on the road we will more games, which means that if we win on the road then our confidence will grow on the road so we can play better on the road

I think it is all making sense now, thankyou A.B. you are truly the LFC road expert  :D  ???

Home and Away games are different, and you must be able to adjust.

There is no harm in Benitez teaching the team to play in differnt styles. This is one of the reasons Arsenal often fail in Europe against akward oppoistion, because they have played one way for so long, though Wenger has recorgnised this and is now adjusting in Europe.

We are needing that new stadium building then we need better marketing leading to pots of cash to buy the best players. We need money simple as that. Enough to make mistakes in the transfer market and not worry. You just go buy another then another until it clicks. We are really going to find it hard to compete the way things stand and indeed we are.

You think money is the main reason why we aren't good away?

I think your wrong.

Why?

Where you have been for the past 3-4 years I do not know but in case you did not know Real Madrid has tons and tons of money. They have world class players on their squad but they haven't won anything in the past 2-3 seasons.

Look at their performance in the La Liga and in the Champions League this year. You would think that with players like what they have that they would be winning every game.

You see MONEY is not the reason why we aren't good away as we are at Anfield.

the problem with our away form is purely psychological. at least we appear to be beating the lesser teams at home convincingly this season. the fact is, playing 1 up away from home has it's disadvantages because the striker gets isolated most of the time.

But we do not play in La Liga. In the Premiership money does talk.

No, I meant we need to score more goals not score more goals than the opposition as thats pretty obvious  :D

Win the next game and go 4th on goal diff.  It's not too bad and we will get better "at home and on the road!"
