Wes brown - An option?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Scottbot » Sat Oct 02, 2004 1:09 pm

Looks like he is on his way out of Trafford. Seems unlikely he would end up at Anfield but he could be an option. I always thought he was capable of becoming a class act but injuries have stunted his progress. What does everyone think?

How much could trash such as he cost? Price tags don't represent footballers talent.

It shouldnt matter where a player came from if the manager believes he will strengthen the team...thats silly talk ab. Deep breaths ...breathe in and you can overcome this hatred  :D
Paul Ince had a good spell with Liverpool albeit at the end of his career but was accepted in general by most Fans.
Wes Brown is a good player but an unlucky one at that.

Paul Ince had a good spell with us? :D The man was so far up his own a**e hole and most Liverpool fans didnt want such a t*t at the club. I was made up when GH got rid of him.

To be honest Nat he was only signed because Roy Evans needed a leader in his Liverpool team because Barnes was starting to fade out but he chose the wrong option. Fergie had the balls to get rid of him and so did GH. The man had a ego as big as his bank balance. That late equaliser against you was about the best moment. :)
