No Im not  ..Im just trying to understand and put a lid on this. Ive heard of  not wanting a player because of his religon,or the colour of his skin,but never because of the shirt he wore  . Maybe i just dont understand the true rivalry being Non English..
And I can say with hand on heart Id love one Liverpool Player and he needs no introduction.   If your beliefs are true itll never happen

I would NEVER prejudice against a player because of the colour of his skin or his nationality.

However local rivalries that have existed for years are actually healthy competition and I think a fellow poster said as much earlier in this thread.

Your dealing in conjecture Vladi cos Ronaldo HASN'T begged Raffa to play for LFC and won't.

Get a  grip Scott  I'm not going to get into tehe"not from liverpool" thing here cos on the whole i think it's disrespectful and on the whole wrong.

However unles you live and grew up in this area you can't fully understand the local rivalries , cultural, sporting and industrial that divide these 2 cities. No offence intended Scott cos i know you are very knowledgeable on this great club ......
