You wouldn't fancy Ferdinand in our team then? or a Giggs or Keane in their prime?

I wouldnt take ANY man utd player, no matter how good they may be. It was bad enough we employed Ince. Even though he signed from Milan it never felt right. We dont do business them with and they dont with us. Lets keep things that way.

True I never want to see an ex manc in an LFC jersey
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I'm sorry but no. I don't care how good a player he is but I don't want a Manc wearing our Red shirt. Considering how much sh!t they talk about us especilly with the racist comments recently I don't need a Manc in the club I love. Maybe you do but not me.

Paul Ince had a good spell with Liverpool albeit at the end of his career but was accepted in general by most Fans.
Wes Brown is a good player but an unlucky one at that.

So if it doesn't matter where a player comes from then tell me why United have NEVER bought a Liverpool player directly ? ???

The reality is it DOES mattter and your being a  touch naive if you believe it doesn't.

Even before football was being played in the North West, Liverpool and Manchester were competing for trade and business. This naturally followed in sporting circles and we have the rivalry we have today.

And before you tell me I'm being petty because of your realtive success over the last 12 years or so..... I grew up listening to United fans hark on about Best, Law and Charlton in the 27 years between titles from 68-93.

Fact is I woulddn't want Liverpool to buy a Man U player no matter how good or whatever the price. And if your honest you wouldn't like it either.

My point exactly Supersub. Anyway what do we want with a player of his questionable ability and fitness record, we have our own version , he's called Vladimer Smicer :D

I can see where youre coming from Dalglish. But on the other hand -if Steven Gerrard did become available-do you think Fergie would back down because he is a Liverpool player? ???
It Depends on a lot of things ,especially whos in charge -Souness did it with the Mo johnston thing in Glasgow which is a bit more hostile than England.
Personally I wouldnt mind Man u Signing a Liverpool player..as long as it isnt Biscan.  :D Sure why not!
