It's an interesting game this, and I couldn't help coming back to the rotation question. Now often these days, people hold Man Utd up as an examplem of rotation ina ction and successful campaigns. To an extent it's true of course, but Fergie does get a little silly himself from time to time. It doesn't really matter too much who does it, if you pick silly football teams you run the risk of losing football matches. Now often as they've got spunky front players they'll drag it out of the mire, but they run the risk anyway.
For much of the first half here they've had Anderson playing on the left. He's awful there. Ity's as silly as playing Peter Crouch on the left wing, or Martin Skyrtel at right back. I expect they'll chnage it and put someone who can actually play down the left in there. Because they have lots of good players, they may drag themselves back into it.
As we know though, ridiculous selections cause you to run the risk of losing football matches. They almost cost themselves the title last season and but for a Steve Bennet intervention on the final day may well have done so. Hopefully Fergie makes more errors like this one in the last couple of games.
Also I couldn't help but niotice that the bloke who "amkes Rio Ferdinand look good" fell over it again. I remain convinced that Ferdinand is head and shoulders the best centre half in the Premiership, and he might just be the best one around. That said, I have vowed to take the advice given to me and to "open my eyes FFS" next time I watch him. Apparently I might learn something, so here's hoping.
"se e in una bottigla ed e bianco, e latte".
