As apart from English he's able to speak Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, French, Italian and German, I wonder depending on who he's talking too, if like McLaren his accent is subject to random change.

OK now to my question. I have put it here because I couldn't find anything on this anywhere else and it does ( or does not ) concern our captain.

Before I get to my question I want to say do not jump down my throat for asking this I just need to know and you guys are the people to ask so here goes.

As some of you may or may not know I live in Manchester and for the past few months I have been hearing rumours that Steven has got some 16yr old pregnant and that a current gagging order will soon be removed. I first heard this about a month ago from ( shock !! ) a United fan and laughed it off, since then more and more united fans mainly have been saying the same thing. They claim that the Terry- Gerrard spat whilst with England was because Terry was a bit miffed that he had the captains armband taken away for the Wayne Bridge thing and yet Stevie got the nod even though ( it is claimed ) that everyone, players ,reporters etc,etc know about this pregnancy story but no story has been published until the gagging order is removed.

So can anyone with any inside information put my mind at rest and maybe make me a bit of money   by waging that this story will not be seen in the papers in the next few weeks

No Offence, I think Stevie is on the decline.(go on, slam me for saying that). He has been carrying the team for a decade, and nobody can turn back the clock. he never had a great 2009/2010 season and looks like he has lost a yard of pace.

I say cash in now, or swap for schweinsteiger.

Nah, he can still do a very good job or us for the next couple of seasons although that being said I wouldn't blame if he did want to leave for pastures new. He has given this club a helluva lot over the past decade or so.

The latest rumour is that is was not a 16 year old but his wife's sister.....until it was established that she doesn't have a sister

i said that last season and i was called insane

but world cup showed it too for me....he had one good half (in the usa game)

people said he was for us last year cause he was saving himself for the world cup? well it didnt look like it to me

hes still a good player, a very good one on his day but not a world class one anymore

He's definately not the player he was a couple of years ago for me. That's natural though, physically he won't be quite the same specimen. He wouldn't be the first player who has to slightly change the way he plays in order to take into account the onset of time, and like many others my guess is that he'll go back to being one of a central two or three as opposed to playing off Torres this season.

In some ways its a shame he´s lost the ambition to move into a more exciting phase of life with RM, Inter, Benfica or some other club that would provide a greater challenge in his last years.

yeah, shame he doesnt want to Leave LFC to try and achieve what he can at his boyhood club
