STEVE CLARKE OFFICIAL THREAD - Kenny's New Assistant

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I suppose it depends on how John Henry splashes the cash. If he shows he his not afraid to spend on the top players then Maurine may well be tempted over here. However, if things are going well by the end of the season I'd take Dalglish over Maurine everyday of the week.

He's only here til the end of the season as well. That's what the feed from the conference said anyway, can't remember if it was a quote from Kenny or not though
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I would like to see the back of Sammy Lee. Huge respect for him but he was involved with Rafa and Roy when times have not been great so we need a completely clean slate and that means Sammy has to go...

yes he said it once to sky and at the press thing.
the first report made by the bbc and sky said he has only agreed to be here untill the right man is found for the job.
news from the club was they were still working on a full time manager and that person was Jose Mourinho.
as i said this was the first reports bbc and sky got in and was posted on a lot of other forums.

same here.
when there was talk of Rafa going last jan it seemed the club was set to put kenny in place with Lee but only for a very short time, i take it that is still the plan they are sticking to.
word was that Lee was going to be gone by the end of the week.
we will just have to see, as it was meant to be Ian Rush taking over his role.

Love to see what the salaries for each role is.

My best mate is the Masseur for Brighton & Hove Albion. He gets a decent £25K for what he does. If he is getting that in League 1, I wonder what the equivalent is at Premiership level?

Lakes your silly and getting desperate

You had no idea on the takeover - despite being in the know (apparently)

Everyone else posted about the rumblings about Kenny taking over

I thought you were in the know but its all bull isnt it lakes - you just make up the gossip

Maureen is nowhere near the list of potential managers

They are currently looking at 4 to be the manager at the start of next season

Deschamps - their first choice
Kenny - if things go well and he handles the job well
Boas
Coyle but they are extremely hopefully of sorting out any of the first three

lol mate in truth i have been in bed with the flu since new years eve, showed my face at my own party then took my self back to bed. sat there with the dvd set of family guy and did a lot of sleeping, logged onto her a few time to see what you lot were doing but that was about it.

as i have said mate time and time again, i offerd the chance for others to get to know me by meeting me at games or on facebook, they are the ones that know about me, i dont feel the need to back myself up in anything i have said before or even now.

this is only a forum, a forum to share views and information.
had a chat with a mod the otherday and i am sticking to what i have been spoken about so in that case i better shut up or i will just get a ban.

Well let me tell you now i can guarentee that Maureen is not being looked at

Main reason - because they expect he will ask for lots of money in the transfer market .
