lets not forget we missed a hsedload of chances and will improove.

whats a worse result, us drawing away to sheff utd or the gooners drawing at home to villa (not saying they will, but if they dio do you think there fans will be this bad???)

As i said, whos doing better? us or the gooners now?

Arsenal losing at the Emirates Stadium?

I realise Highbury was small. But did Arsenal really need to move all the way to Dubai?

So many people over reacting so much.

You saying that Chelsea/Utd & Arsenal all won't draw/lose a game all season?! :censored: are losing at home as I type, does that mean they've ' :censored: it up'? No, it doesn't. We will win the league.

Manhattan likes to make sense of football, in his own mind.

I have a simple rule.

No team that wears blue can ever win the Premiership.

Arsenal have done it.

Manchester United have done it.

Chelsea's title wins don't count.

Blackburn don't even exist.

the problem is that benitez employs the tactic that orders hyppia to lob useless balls to strikers directly. Even without crouch as it is today, it was so ineffective. i believe we should have never play zenden + sissoko together, play Alonso, and Pennant at the start. Pass the ball to Alonso and let him spread it to the wing. I think when we play fowler/bellamy, we should do short passings instead than lobbing. Aurelio is overused and i think warnock will do a better job, he caused the goal, he wasnt even marking at all, holy, he's slower than JAR and he cant tackle, how can benitez use him as left back when he is not solid there? Its a pity that Carra and Riise got injuired.

That's not the point, it doesn't make life easier for us by drawing to Sheff Utd, it adds unnecessary pressure on the players (who lets face it, could do without added pressure). My only worry is we don't want to get off to a slow start like last season and allow Chelsea to gallop infront. We need to go toe to toe with Chelsea and not play catch up. It's a disappointing results and one that's left us at a slight disadvantage, but hopefully we can bounce back.

Chelsea weren't a 100% whether you like to admit it or not and to be honest, it only worked because Sissoko was so immense in the centre of the park. Zenden wasn't bad in that match, but he wasn't the best, we should of started with a stronger side today.

Arsenal 1-1 Aston Villa.

i think ur being a bit harsh on Zenden and Aurelio ! Zenden is a good player and can do a job at CM... The only problem is, playing Gerrard, Alonso and Sissoko together is nothing like playing Zenden, Sissoko and Gerrard ! Alonso is a great midfielder and his passing opens up channels for forwards and gets wingers in better positions ! zenden is more of a traditional CM, he just passes to whomever is opn and available... gerrard tends to drift to the CM position when played on the right so.... zenden is pretty much useless when gerrard and sissoko are played !
Aurelio is a good footballer....like riise, his attacking game is better than his defensive one, butttt.... he is still a more established LB... given the time and chance.... which seems more than likely now that riise is injured, i think Aurelio will prove to be a good signing and will play regularly throughtout the season !

2 points dropped, and TBH its a charity, because the over reaction from some people that we are going to win the league is pathetic.
I am not saying we wont, but we still have ten months to go.
We need to drop points against the likes of Chelsea, United and Arsenal not against Sheff United, but alas it wasnt to be we will just have to make these lost points up.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
