Well Roy is giving the kids plenty of opportunities, nobody can say he isn't. With Pacheco it's up to him to force his way in. In the couple of appearances he's had this season he's been a major disappointment, I don't know how he's going in training, but if you add it up it's probably why he's not getting a run. From what I've seen of him I am unconvinced, but although I accept that many do rate him I think it's wide of the mark to call the manager a "numpty" for not playing him. This is particularly the case when you consider that we've had some excellent results with the "kid teams" we have picked.
As far as Agger is concerned, I too rate him higher than Skyrtel when he's fit. That said, Skyrtel has played better in the last few weeks and the difference between them isn't big enough to get me fecking fuming about the manager selecting one or the other. I'm just enjoying the fact we're playing a little bit better now (not that it is difficult to play better than we were) and getting some good results. If we do beat Chelsea tomorrow (won't be easy I know) we'll go level with Tottenham, above the bitters etc. Equally, results such as the win at Bolton when some daft daft people slagged off the "performance" can now be seen in the right context.
All in all, airing your opinion on whether or not Roy was suitable for the job is completely fair enough. I do think though that he is increasingly proving those who have said he is a "fecking sh!t manager" and "totally out of his depth" wrong. He's doing alright as of now, and good luck to him.
