ROY HODGSON - Official Thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I knoe a mate of Jay Spearing realy well (honest) and he reckons that the players are realy behind Roy and totally believe in what he is doing.

I dont really take too much notice though coz one mans diamond is another mans :censored:.

Even if Roy was looking to sell Agger and Pacheo, which I hope he isnt, the figures quoted are way off.. that much so it has to be made up.. sorry I aint buying it
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

He didn't quote any figures those were just from my memory.

I believe alot of the lads esp the young English lads are behind Roy but he is seriously ailienating some of the young overseas lads who are far more deserving than some of the local or English lads

I wonder if something has happened behind the scenes with Daniel and Roy? It's as if he has been frozen out since the Northampton game. Id rate Agger ahead of Skrtel no problem so im baffled why this could be on the cards. It wasn't so long ago we were all hoping he wouldn't go to Milan.

Regarding Suso, the lad is extremely talanted. Remains to be seen if he can turn that potential into substance but I can't see the harm in keeping him here for a few more years.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

only going by other forums mate but it seems they think Agger can't get fit and will always have problems and the club wish to offload him.

Put it this way i will be well an truley gutted if Agger goes , i just love watching him play football, so if he goes ill be sick/ and i do believe Patcheco is a good player an all, i dunno whenever i have seen him in the ressies he has just made me feel there is something special about him, He needs to be given a chance

I agree Nan. Both should stay. Getting rid of two quality players ? Look at the muck RH has signed in Konchesky and Poulsen
No way.
Roy has it ar-seways......

Id hardly call Pacheco a 'quality' player. How long has he been with us, and how many games has he played? We've let far far better go

Agger is a completely different story tho.. if hes fit

At the risk of starting a russian doll (thanks woof for clarifying that - no need for the warning though  :D ) I disagree wholeheartedly with that mate.
I watched Pacheco a good few times last year in the ressies, not as much this year, and he is kwalitee...I really rate this lad and his vision is far, far better than he gets the chance to demonstrate. I would love to see him in the first team on a regular basis. I think he needs a few more Big Macs though to beef up a bit....a proper fitness and strength regime would make him the mutt's nuts I reckon.
He hasn't been given the chance to play - thank Rafa first and now Numpty....
As for Agger, I really like him too...

think we need a Pacheco thread, dont wanna derail too much from Roy, but being quailty in the reserves really dont mean much... Mellor was class in the reserves, and was great when he played for us, but he always had to be sold

Point made....
Back on track, I think Roy is wrong if he decides to dump either of them
