One of Hodgson's first jobs at Anfield will be to ratify Yossi Benayoun's move to Chelsea after the clubs agreed a fee in the region of £6m for the Israeli midfielder.

That was agreed weeks ago and had nothing to do with Hodgson

Congrats to Dundalk for conjuring up a Roy Hodgson sig within 12 seconds of the news being release :D  Always on the cutting edge!

Anyway good luck fella, lets see what you can do with some of those who underperformed during the previous regime, win over those who excelled and hopefully keep them at the club, though sadly that probably wont be in your hands.

welcome aboard Roy, nice to have an Englishman back in charge of the team again. Sort this mess out, win us the league, and you'll be a hero here.

haha you'll be wanting him out next summer then?

Welcome Roy and good luck because with those two kunts in charge, you're gonna need it lad

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Roy, win a major Trophy in your first season as Rafa did, you will see a giant flag with a dashing picture of you in the stands

Dear oh dear.

Our club has virtually disintegrated in the last 2 years.

It has begun, pop the champagne bottles Sc.umchester and Cheatski because our club has died........

What sad, sad day for Liverpool FC.   :sniffle

in the current climate, with little money to spend, big players wanting away i guess its the best appointment as we couldnt attract a top line manager

for me though we will lose gerrard, torres and mascherano after the world cup and we are now battling it out to finish 7th

everton will be ahead of us next season no doubt

Just play some attacking football. None of this two holding midfielders, one lone striker let's play for a draw when we're not at anfield :censored:.

Oh I'm sorry............

Yeah go Liverpool, with Roy H at the HELM we are going to cruise to the EPL title and destroy everyone in Europe this season, winning the holy grail that is the UEFA Cup. The best players on the planet are breaking down the doors to sign with us. Dweedle Dee and Dweedle Dum will be using ALL of their $2 shop coupons this season to let Roy shrewdly buy the world's best, just you wait............

Is that better for you sunshine?

:Oo:

I don't know what is more depressing the fact that this is happening to our club or the clueless lemmings congregating on this forum to cheer on our demise.

being in the UEFA Cup was down to last season's poor finish. what has Roy done to merit such comments? he hasnt done anything and there's not even a pre-season friendly to begin with and you're already saying he's a step back. how bout taking a step back yourself and see what happens? he might surprise us. after all he is taking over a team which has better personnel compared to his previous.
