An easy game. We won't have any problem. Real Madrid is now so bad.

Pass:

Liverpool
Barcelona
Atlético de Madrid
Villarreal
Arsenal
Chelsea
Manchester
Bayern

As per board policy, this thread will be reopened closer to the match date for the usual build-up discussion.  For the time being, refer all discussion to the CL Draw thread.

Real played last night at home to Racing Santander, they won 1 nil. (Higuain)

Team:
              Iker Casillas

Ramos   Cannavaro    Pepe     Heinze

Van der Vaart *  Sneijder ***  Diarra   Robben **

                          Raul      Higuain

Substitutes
Jerzy Dudek
Marcelo (78) *
Miguel Torres Gomez
Julien Faubert (61) **
Javi Garcia (72) ***
Javier Saviola
Klaas Jan-Huntelaar

Real's last 8 league results are:

Barcelona 2 - 0 Real Madrid 78,000 Spanish Primera División
Real Madrid 1 - 0 Valencia 75,000 Spanish Primera División
Real Madrid 1 - 0 Villarreal 80,000 Spanish Primera División
Mallorca      0 - 3 Real Madrid 18,000 Spanish Primera División

Ramos has started grinding out wins and no doubt this will be a tough game , we need to show up like we did against chelsea and well will batter them . Their defense is slow , pepe and cannavaro but their fullbacks are good ramos , marcelo . Their midfield is their main threat , VDV , sneijder , diarra and robben , need to shut up robben , sneijder and VDV and we 're goal . Higuain i don't rate him at all but this season he has been playing well so we have to watch out for that . Nisterooy is out for the season

Agreed, Ramos has turned them into a good defensive unit recently, they have been getting a lot of 1-0 wins. Robben is the key creative player at the moment he has been superb but his fitness is always an issue and he really dosnt like getting kicked. They do have quality players all over the park though so we will have to be at our best to win the tie but im always confident in the champions league.

Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road
