Hasn't he already got a pay rise with this new contract? Anyway I am very happy with his progress. But now that he doesn't have Parry to stand in his way he has to get his next lot of signings right. We wanted to be within a few points of the leaders come April. Well we very nearly could have been a few points ahead had it not been for points dropped against small sides but no points moaning about that now. The point is we are still in with a shout with only a handful of games to go. If your not happy with that then you need a slap in the face.

Can't vote, the poll doesn't include an option close to my view of Rafa which has improved only slightly from the last time. There is a chance he can win us the title, still plenty he can do to improve tactically, defensively and with one or two key purchases in the summer. We've still drawn too many games this season, if we do the same next season then he may as well go as we will struggle to win the league while drawing double figures

PREMIERSHIP

04/05 7 draws
05/06 7 draws
06/07 8 draws
07/08 13 draws
08/09 11 draws

By comparison the champions in the past four seasons have drawn just 23 games combined, we've drawn more than that in just under two (07/08-08/09) Rafa may have done enough to earn another season, but there needs to be improvement on this season bare minimum, if not a league title at the end of it. Chelsea should prove much tougher next season, Arsenal may rise again as they do every now and then. And who knows what kind of threat Citeh, villa and the bitters may pose - less likely the latter two, but you never know.

I think Chelsea will be weaker next season. They have many ageing players so unless they plan to go on another 200Mil spree they will fall behind. They don't have the youth coming through like Arsenal or Utd.

I honestly reckon Rafa has seen the light of what needs to be done to win the league. When chasing the title drawing feels like losing.  Games have to be won rather than not lost. I think he knows that now. Next season we will see what he has learnt. I really hope Silva is one of his targets :;):

Some of you take things so seriously. For those that will choose to vote negativley towards Rafa, think about what this season has been like and compare that to every year since we last won the league.

Jesus whats next, Rafa clothes-o-meter.

The other two didn't exactly match my views either, but were a lot closer than your effort. I grade you "D, must try harder but unlikely will do any better"

As for posting what almost matches my view, why bother with a poll then "matey" ? I suggest you stick your poll when the sun will only shine if you eat it

More troubling is Judge's theological framework here.  Are God and Jesus not meant to be different but equal aspects of the same divinity according to Christian precepts?  If so, how can Jesus merit less of a pay raise than God? :D

it's the scruffy beard .. he'll never get the top job

I voted 7.

My aims for this season were:

1) Challenge in the prem til close to the bitter end
2) Win a domestic cup
3) Get as far as poss in CL, and don't go out with a whimper (ie. Benfica 2005/6)

He's achieved 2 out of the 3 so he's kinda earned his crust
