So, everyone on Newkit loves to make a few predictions about the forthcoming season

Except me! I'm indifferent, predictions don't prove sh it. Loads will claim citeh will win the league, others will claim they won't. Those who end up being right won't be any more or less 'informed' than anyone who got it wrong - it can be yes or no on the best of reasons that doesn't quite work out. Might want to lock it at the start of the season because some are bound to do a bit of creative editing!

8. Best newcomer. So far I'd say it might be a toss-up between Cole and Jovanovic, but who is going to have the final word on saying who it is?
9. Liverpool top scorer. I'm thinking Torres is a home-banker, unless he is out more than usual and Gerrard has a blinder.

I look at the other squads and I gotta say that if we can have a relatively injury free season I cant see any reason why we cant go all the way. It'll take luck and a few of the other clubs to have their share of the misfortune that plagued the Reds last year but as long as the ownership issue gets sorted out in the near future why the bloody hell not?
