As the saying goes "form is temporary, class is permanent"

Hopefully Mignolet isn't a "one season wonder"

Would be gutted to lose Pepe.

He has stuck with us whilst our fortunes havent been great - seen the top players leave but signed new contracts and not jumped ship - just what the club needs - feel he is being pushed out

Wouldn't be a surprise if Pepe goes, Mignolet is hardly going to come to sit on the bench all season.

Trust in Brendan.

I like Mignolet. I personally think he is better than Pepe, Reina hasnt given us much in the last few years. Aslong as we keep Agger im alright with Pepe going

He never defends Liverpool FC, whether or not he defends his own club is something we can't answer unless we nip over to Man city forum

If he goes, I really really hope his salary wasn't a key factor.

reina said in his book he nearly signed for arsenal and admitted he wanted out.
and lets face it if barcelona would have put in a bid he`d be on the next flight out of john lennon.
he`s not as committed to the cause as you make him out to be.

Pushed out? He clearly doesn't want to be here and he wouldn't hesitate to sell us out once Barca came for him. I'm sure he would have done the same things that Luis is doing right now if Barca were still interested in him.

Thought Napoli had now turned their interest to Reina after the Cesar negotiations broke down.

Reunited with Rafa may do him good as he's not been the same keeper for us since Benitez left.

I'm pretty sure Pepe wouldn't be doing what Suarez is doing - believe the person has a lot more respect for the club and acts with a lot more class.

Pepe going will be something I believe we will regret - the wage bill will be reduced though.

Once we signed Mignolet it was obvious Pepe would leave. There is no way we can keep both Reina and Mignolet happy and we wont pay high wages to keep Pepe on the bench.
Its sad but its no surprise that Reina will leave this season.
