Im sure Sammy Lee wouldnt mind coming back. Im not sure though what Rafa relationship with Thommo is like.

Well Rafa got rid of Thommo when he bought Pako in, so who knows. I for one don't want Thommo back, his approach and dis-respect to youngsters is appauling.

Really I had no idea he was that bad to youngsters Oasis. Sorry for making that comment then.  :D

Rafa seems to like working with people he knows well, but I'd like him having an english sidekick coach. John Aldridge would be my fav. Does know some Spanish due to his 2 years in La Liga, he's a red, and he'd teach the forwards how to be wiser in the penalty area.

Ok I have no idea of what are Aldo's coaching skills, but I'd love the idea of him and Rafa working together. :)

Phil Thompson is yesterday's man and many of the current squad wouldn't exactly be over the moon if Thommo returns.

I'd like to see Ian Rush being brought back on board but I think Rafa will bring somebody over from Spain.

I think in a few years maybe Jamie Redknapp would make a good coach.

He tried with Gary Mac (credit to him for that aswell) but he turned him down.

If it was and Enlgish coch it would have to be someone associated with the club.

Im sure Sammy Lee wouldnt mind coming back. Im not sure though what Rafa relationship with Thommo is like.

Im sure Rafa will pick the right man. As he still has so many nw tactical ideas he wishes to convey in our team i would imagine he would pick a fellow Spaniard as communication would be easier.

Rafa and Phil Thompson had a very brief but good relationship before he left the club. Thommo gave him alot of advice about some of the players who he felt should not be part of the squad. Could this be the reason why Danny Murphy was quickly shown the door? His mind was already mind up about leaving the club before Rafa could even tell him he wasnt wanted.

I wish him well but still feel regret that he left us, especially in the way that he did.
