City H 07/10

Tough little run.

If we somehow many 3 victories I'd be absolutely ecstatic.

I'd take 2 Epl wins and wouldn't mind draw vs Napoli.

I'd take that as well. I'd even take a draw vs. Chelsea but it's absolutely crucial that we beat City.

The City home game is absolutely crucial now. If we beat them at anfield, i think we are in a very good position in the league.

We beat City 3/4 times last season, so I'm confident going into Sunday's match.

Any win will do, but we need to stop squandering chances.

Front 3 really need to kick in gear if we want 3 points against City. A win and we are nicely set uptil December until we face top 6 opposition. I think we've got Arsenal A in December.

Our front 3 were on fire last season but they are playing like complete strangers now, they can barely string 2 passes together without someone miss-controlling it.
Today is the 1st of October, the season started in early August, its high time they started to click into gear again.

Like I said before the match, I would take a draw vs. Chelsea, but a win vs. City is a must now for me, in order to keep the initiative. Beating the blue mancs will take us back on top with 3 points ahead of City and at least 2 ahead of Chelsea.

I think we can beat them, but as the posters above we have said, only if the attack finally kicks into gear. I know it's City, but I can't see them scoring more than 1 goal at Anfield with the form our back 5 is in. We just need to take our chances and we'll win.

There’s no way City are leaving Anfield with more than nil points. The fans will have the players real fired up for this one. I would actually consider starting studge against Napoli and resting either Mane or Firmino. Maybe even have shakiri come in for salah.

If we squander the amount of chances we did in the two games versus Chelsea, no way will we win the Man CIty match.

Hmmm the tough run in has not gone to plan..

We beat City I'll be made up.

To take the points off city we will have to do something that we haven't done this year and that's play like we did last season  :nod  It is at Anfield so we have got to use that as an advantage and go for it but try anything like we did last night and they will rip us to shreds.

At the moment our lads are feeling the pressure of expectation and they are struggling to rise above it. Being top of the pile so soon might be a curse for us. A part of me believes we might be better off a point or 2 back and let the spotlight burn someone else.

The lil blip that we are in this is the worst time to face City. However saying that maybe this will give the lads the extra push to perform well. A blip is always temporary so lets hope we are back on track vs Citeh. After City we've got a nice decent run of games we should easily overcome.

The international break is well timed for us and will do us good to take a step back and work out what needs to be done.

Positive is after the international break we've got a decent run of winnable fixtures.

20/10-Huddersfield (A)
24/10-C Zvezda (H)  champs league
27/10-Cardiff (H)
03/11-Arsenal (A)

In the Epl we have got a nice run coming up. After Arsenal the next toughest fixture will be against Mannure on 15th of Dec.
