come on Ciggy we will still win the next game 3-0

No we cant we managed 1-0 last time in a dodgey goal, even though it would have been a pen and Cech sent off, we will not beat Chelsea at Anfield 3-0.

We are Liverpool FC, we come back from 3-0 down in 45 mins.
also we have have this

how a handful of you guys are shooting your heads off about Zenden is really beyond me. A couple of seasons ago, it was traore (which was highly justified 99% of the time), now its Zenden. It seems that people need to point fingers and find a scape goat everytime results dont go our way.

Certainly, half the team did worse than Zenden tonight.

Bellamy was completely non-existant.

Macherano was not his usual composed self, gave the ball away and lost pocession more times than Zenden. A couple led to some pacy counter attacks by the Chavs and luckily for us, they could not take advantage.

Arbeloa was like lost sheep out on the right against joe cole. hopefully, finnan gets over his back problem for the second leg.

Agger was completely out-muscled and out-paced by Dogbreath and he would have to bear some responsibility for cole's goal. What Ciggy said in an earlier post was right.. if only hyypia had alittle more pace, i think he would have dealt with Dogbreath much better than Agger did.

the only ones who did alright were alonso, Reina and Kuyt. Gerrard needs to play in the middle for the return leg and put pennant on the right. we certainly missed his runs into the box tonight. Everytime Chelski attacked, i had to hold my breath, but when we attack, the only person i could see a goal coming from, was from Stevie.. we really are lacking a goal threat. Hope Rafa plays Crouch next week.

As the situation stands, we need to score next week, as well as keep them from scoring. Dont want to be caught out like what PSV did to Arsenal. If the chavs score one at Anfield, we'll have to hit back with 3 in regulation time.

The tie is still firmly in the balance though i must admit Chelski has the upperhand now. Maureen has a straightforward enough job at Anfield next week while Rafa really has to get his formation and tatics spot on.

Last time we only NEEDED one goal, then we sat back and defended. This time we will score 2 then sit back and defend!Hopefully  :D

I no im probably get a years worth of stick for this but i don't think Zenden was that bad, can name a lot worse tonight...
Alonso had a shocker as did
Bellamy and Arbeloa
Crouch gave us nothing when he came on

Kuyt did nothing with the ball either although he didn't really have many options when he had it

Not too bad a result considering we never looked like scoring

Hey Ciggy, remeber Istanbul, we can do it. With crowd going if we get the first the place will go mental. Anfield needs to be biblical next week, we want 100% from the players and  we need to help and give the same next week, come on!

I agree mate. Perhaps another option might have been better, but he wasn't in the 3 worst players list whatsoever, IMO.

Alonso had a shocker as did

Duk, watch the game again, and we'll discuss it. Thank you. I disagree.

Deserved win for Chelsea.. played really impressive football! drogba motm.

We had possession and we were always on their box but we werent dangerous, when they always attacked they were the most team that are likely to score.

I'd definitely be up for Pennant starting on the right next week. We had no right hand side tonight. Gerrard didn't seem to get the message that he was supposed to be out there - it was like a 4 man midfield across only 2/3s of the pitch.

I definitely think Rafa should consider a five man midfield, with Kuyt on the left and Crouch alone up top. Ferreira was there for the taking tonight, and I think a workaholic player like Riise or Kuyt would've eaten him alive on that wing. Gerrard looked hungry and lively tonight, but we just didn't create anything worthwhile other than the volley from about 30-odd yards out.

possible ways to advance
1-0 and then win it in extra time
2-0
3-1

I think depending on which outcome is most likely we should go with differnet tactics, formations and players.

Soul Glow tw@t of the highest order see that kunt stopped us on two occasions faking injury, what a total cheating feck horse, then he went collecting bottles of Seven up to show to the ref after he had been kicked in the balls.
There are two tw@ts in England Dogbreath and Ronaldo who wears mascara and lipgloss. Pair of kunt horses.
Give me our Carra who wipes his snot on his shirt sleeves any day of the week.
Even if we never won another thing I never want cheating b@stards like that pair at our club never, Shankly would turn in his grave.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
