Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby J*o*n*D*o*e » Wed Apr 11, 2007 10:52 pm

lets get the semi final over before we even start thinking about the final, i never thought i would ever go through what went through in 2005 but here we are again and it could even be AC Milan in the final again.

whatever happens its going to be fooking tough and another roller coaster ride.

TIME TO WIN THIS AND BRING IT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not as nervous about this one as I was in 2005, with that in their minds they'll certainly have a go but no robben and essien will be a big bonus at their shithole. I feel a load more confident about this team!!!!

We have to score at the Bridge have to, when Kuyt hit the bar last time, and we where the better team.
Please god we are due a goal there.
Couldnt handle hanging on for a draw again Id be in Hossie with a cardio.

Clive Tyldsley's quote from 2005 sums it up for me, when the camera showed some LFC fan biting his nails and he goes...

mourinho's started with his mind game bollox as usual - moaning about suspensions, fixture congestion etc etc. whatever jose, bring it on :buttrock

i have a horrible feeling we're gonna meet the sh*te in athens though - i don't know if i'll be able to even watch that, the tension will be feckin heart-attack levels. but imagine if we beat them in the champions league final? that would CRUSH them & their fans psychologically and give us the ultimate in bragging rights for YEARS to come   :wwww  oh man, the mind boggles :D

Losing to the sh.ite in the final would be the worst moment of my sporting life though, probably worse than Michael Thomas and May 1989. The thought of it almost makes me want to lose to Chelsea.....almost.  :buttrock

Agreed, but it just so happens he commentated some goals that bring back great memories 'Luis Garcia...tries his luck, oh what a goal! What a goal, what a night!'

John Champion doesn't get anywhere near enough matches on ITV, considering he's the only one who seems to have any brains.

Him and Andy Gray where proper fuming tonight that PSV didnt knock us out, not so much Gray but Clive was he was fuming at the stats that Liverpool where the first team in the CL quarters that didnt need to score he was goin mad.
Fair play to Gullit though must admit he was proper fuming at hairy hands Keys over Crouch.

I'm hoping we get past Chelski again! Are there any groups of you that go away to these away games as I'm down in Wales and would like to meet up rather then just go on my todd if I'm lucky enough to get a ticket?

The semi final isn't bothering me that much as I feel that as long as the lads perform to their full ability then we can deffinately overcome the chavs. It's the prospect of meeting the scum in the final that is bringin a lump to the back of me shorts. It's not that I doubt our ability to beat them it's just that I don't think I could take losing to them in probably the biggest final we'd ever meet them in and lest face it they seem to have some kind of scrawpie sh.it going on over us at times.

Less of the bad vibe sh!t anyway and get on with bringing number 6 home.  :buttrock
