LIVERPOOL VS BIRMINGHAM - All the build up..................

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby bigmick » Wed Feb 01, 2006 11:18 pm

I was downstairs locked away in the office and neither of BBC's radio channels had the Liverpool game on. I had to settle for cheering Blackburn on against Manure. Evra and Vidic were absolutely dreadful by all accounts. Apparantly Vidic was a joke. You never know we might have got a result there.

no one can critisise rafas management. it was a freak own goal and yet another MOTM goalkeeper display against us.

we played well as a unit. we looked to be enjoying our footy. agger settled in well. fowler looks little less than matchfit but the class is always there.

mori... well... he tried :D

positives outway the negatives in my opinion

negatives- strikers dont score again, dropped 2 points.

positives- god is back and scores a well taken "non" goal, kewell played awesome again!, mancs didn't win, agger has great debut, we outplayed them my a mile!, garcia is back (may of missed a sitter, but he improved out team loads!)

Agreed ciggy, and against 10 men as well - but we should surely be putting these kind of teams away - especially at home.

I'm not one to start slaggin this and that player off - all i'll say is that chances certainly fell our way and they should have been put in the back of the net - simple as.

We know this Feeney mate but it wasnt just this game, our strikers have been sh.ite and been getting away with murder because the midfielders are scoring.
again tonight Gerrard scored, Crouch was a threat Morientes none exsiting again until the lay off for Gerrard.
We must be using the strikers the wrong way cause Morientes livend up a bit 2nd half.
But the first half he wasnt even on the pitch.
the right balance is there in defence and midfield its just that the attackers havent got the end product.
But now Fowlers back Im confident he will get us what we need and assist many a goal.
We had so much possession tonight it was unbelievable but at anfield goalies seem to have the game of their lives, and pull out save after save.
I am very happy that our passing game is back because I thought it had gone and we where burned out.
So no complaints only that we did not convert earlier chances.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
