Thats exactly what JK stated that we were not that good when we had the ball, lacked skill and precision.
Im sure it will be addressed.

Was hoping to see him, but I am sure he will get some chances. Is it true he is not in our Europa squad?

Had a cracker of a game today, slightly shadowed by Firmino. Would happily bin Lallana to see this kid grow.

Touch of class I'd like to see more of him in the team. Love to hear Martin Tyler's commentary each time Joao Carlos scores.

TYLER: "Ferdinand (bad backpass), "TSHEEARRRERRRRR" !! LIVERPOOL LEAD IN STOPPAGE TIME !

Gorgeous little back heel that if converted would have marked his genius. Its players like him that make this old romanticist fall in love with football all over again !

Far more composed than coutinho  :nod Especially in front of goal.
I don't know why Bodgers was reluctant to give him a chance as any time the lad did feature he more than held his own. Hopefully under Klopp he will feature more regular as all he needs is consistent game time and then I reckon we will have one hell of a player in a year or so.

Completely agree with this. It is important to keep him and play him, which would mean moving Lallana on. Happy to do so.

Im hoping we do feature him more and eventually turn him into a regualar. The lad is 22 yrs old and its time he makes his mark gradually as a regualar.

Tex and firmy are tricky players we need to break down defences.

The way he flicked the ball the other night which lead to the goal against Bournemouth showed composure that Origi simply does not have.
If DS and Big Ben are not fit, perhaps it's worth playing him as the so called false 9?
Don't think it could be any worse than Origi up top.

He was too good for the reserves a couple of years ago and should have started a few games in the cups then. Not sure if he’ll ever go on to pin down a spot in the first 11 but if he becomes useful enough so that we don’t have to spend 5-10mil on some squad player from the continent then it’s a good result.

The lad has this season to prove himself at Liverpool or hes done simple as that and his trick against Bournemouth shows he understands that he needs to be extraordinary or Klopp will release him.

Its only right we set a very high bar at the academey and with Highway back as a consultant hopefully we wont see players achieveing testimonial status in development football.

Completely agree. Having him as a bench option is a good option for us. IMO, he should get a few league games and starts in the cup games. He is a talent. At 22 we can still get the best years out of him.

If we are looking for wide players, I would keep him as the back up and sell Lallana.
