Wish we could have got Carlos at his best because I thought he was a fantastic and exciting footballer. Thing is I think his best days are gone and whilst he could probably do a good job even now, he is not a sound investment.

i've heard it was more rumour mongering. jesus - its really tiring me now. i can't wait until feb and it all stops. not sure if he'd be a good player for us anyway - apart from coming on with 5 minutes to go so he can belt in a free kick from the half way line.

roberto carlos! no chance of him ever joining liverpool, dont think were high profile enough for him! anyway for the price he would cost we could buy several players that we actually need!

I think he is far too over-rated, i hate the way ppl go on about him, he aint THAT good. He is absolutely s hi te at takin free kicks too, every1 thinks he is great because of THAT goal, i'd rather have Riise and Traore myself.

We need strengthin in other places first!

Together with Beckham, the most over rated player in the world.

Commentators talk about him as a free kick specialist (at what kicking a ball into a wall). Scoring a great free every 2 years isn't quality, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Defensively dodgy too.

He is fit though and good going forward. He's also a short ****** and rubbish at defending set pieces (98 WC final goal went through his stubby legs)

no way,i'd have said yes a while back but this season he's been much slower than he was last season and his fitness has got much better. I would love to sse zidane come instead but i doubt he would leave real madrid ever.

zidane`s not the same player either, he`s even said himself he`s playing the worst football of his career and is considering retirement. he wants people to remember him as the player he was not a shadow of his former self.
