Jarvis you mean? He'll be worth at least double his true value because he's English. He is a very good player though and could easily play for a bigger club than Wolves.

I feel we need an aerially diominant centre half, a left back, a midfield destroyer, a left winger and a back up for Torres.

As it stands, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City and Spurs all have better squads than us imo.

yep thats the problem strength in depth. I can never understand why we dont sign anyone on loan. Because then the player knows he has to impress in order to get a contract.

is that the same Jarvis who use to play for Norwich?

I agree with most of that post tho, let's hope the new owners see that our squad needs mass improvement too

I would be happy to get rid of anybody who wasnt in the long term plans as well as we do seem to be in transition so why not take advantage and have a mass clearout of deadwood as well, even raise some money to hopefully make three biggish buys or one great buy and two good ones

I agree.  For some reason it will be sad to see him go as I do think that theres a great player in there somewhere.

This might be a daft thing to say but I wouldnt mind us going for some players that have been good on football manager  .  It is normally a mental thing to say but I do like the look of Dzeko, Badstubber and Toni Kroos.

If we get money for a few players and the owners put up some dosh I think we should go for a top buy as a message that we are back in the hunt.  I think with that intent we should go for Riberry

Its fairly rare that a quality player is availible on loan. I agree what you say though, Santa Cruz will be available in Jan but would citeh ok it if we were interested?

If he wasnt big and strong he would never have made it past juniors,he`s a shocking footballer IMO, his greatest skill is being able to kick a ball hard, says it all.

Seriously, how much do you think he`s worth? I`d take 5 mill from the likes of brum, he`d fit in there alright. Would maybe look half decent playing for a side like that but not for us, to wasteful.

We obviously need a striker/forward, we need more from wide so a winger who`ll go and go at his fullback, someone with a good engine. I`d get rid of Pulson and bring back momo to do that job for us when needed, his time in Italy has no doubt done him good.
Oh yeah and a fullback, we could maybe do with two.

I would much prefer Thomas Muller for that kind of signing, young, athletic, good on the ball, down to earth and all guns blazing...

Agbonlahor, Ashley Young and perhaps a cheeky bid for Gibbs.

JW Henry has been quoted as saying we need more youth in the squad and that he wants a homegrown spine to the team. So with that in mind my list of targets would be as follows -

Carroll - Newcastle
N'Zogbia - Wigan
A Young - Villa
J Henderson - S'Land

Carroll and NZogbia got into a training ground fight some time back. not sure if thats a good idea to have them back together :D Connor Wickham and Joe Mattock seems to be receiving rave reviews. and perhaps Micah Richards as well?
