At long last a sight for sore eyes.......

Yes that is Stevie G on the right doing some running, accompanied by Antonio Nunez on the left of the picture, and a physio I am less than excited about seeing in the middle.

Physio looks like a big, fit lad. Maybe he can play upfront? ???

Thats good to see after everything seemed to be eclipsed by Cisses injury. I was so ingrossed in concern for Cisse that i wasnt even dissappointed we didnt move into 4th spot after the Blackburn match!

What about Vladimir Smicer?

Any word on him coming back?

Tell you what, we've got a lot of players out either injured or loaned haven't we?

Nunez makes it through his 1st warm-up of the season. Third time lucky!

Both should be in contention for a place in the first team later this month. Gerrard is targeting Liverpool's Premiership clash at Middlesbrough on November 20 for his return, while Nunez could be ready for his Reds debut in a couple of weeks time

Not worth having Smicer as a backup though?

He might prosper in a Rafa Benitez side.

No point him being out injured is there?  It's like Henchoz, probably wont play again, but what if a defensive crisis happened?

If Henchoz was injured, we'd be even more f****d.  That's all.

Why have injured players, when you can have fit players?

You cannot plan for injuries, otherwise you will have a squad of about 100 players!!
