Garcia - Improved offer

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Ok thanks, i know he is a great player. I did think he was a bit older than that though.

It would strenghten our squad more than Nunez would, but its going to make for good competition for the starting line up. If Liverpool can pull off the Alonso move and get Garcia it will make way for a very bright future.

I'm listening to the Cadena SER (most important spanish radio) and Luis Garcia have not trained this afternoon with Barça and seems his agreement with Liverpool is very near. The offer is very good for the player, who would earn the triple of what he earn in Barça.
Barcelona doesn't want to sell him but if Liverpool pay 9 million € he will go to Anfield. :)

Believe me, it would be an excelent sign for LFC, i think even better than Xabi Alonso.

No doubt he would be a great signing, but i doubt he would be better than Alonso!

Fingers crossed we get him.

In no particular order:

Cisse-Baros

Alonso-Gerrard-Garcia-Kewell

Josemi-Hyppia-Carragher-Riise

Kikland/Dudek

With that line up, we have a chance of winning something.
