villa and spudz will no doubt "mess up", it's hoping citeh "mess up" that is probably going to do for us.

Do you know how many doubles we've done this season? TWO. Chelsea and Fulham can do the double over us, we can do the double over West Ham, Hull and Burnley, but at the moment it is 2-1 (Bolton and bitters for, Arsenal against) The saddest fact is we haven't done the double over Pompey, Wigan, Sunderland, Birmingham, Blackburn, Stoke, Wolves and can't do it over Fulham. We've had chances to finish 4th, shows the lack of quality competing the place since we've dropped so many silly points.

Its easy to blame the state of the club on one level but lets be honest. On all levels, from the playing staff to the board. Watching Liverpool is painful viewing. For me, if rafa remains in charge, this club is going nowhere. If our current american friends remain as owners, we are going nowhere. Its hard to put up with. But we have no choice but to persevere and hope. We are screwed on so many levels at this club its just not funny anymore.

Good point well made
Thats why I asked for a 'both at the same' time option in the priority thread

We have not won an away game in the Premiership since knocking in an injury time winner at Villa on the 29 December.Thats not top 4 form and if we cannot beat Burnley next time on the road then lord knows where we are going to end up.

we don't deserve it. we shouldn't. it would be the most undeserving "victory" should we end up 4th.

Chasing shadows for fourth now unless City slip up at home to Spurs and Villa or lose at West Ham on the final day. Without the home form we've had since Christmas we'd be in danger of being pushed out of 7th by Everton as well.

4th is out of the question: even if the others slip we are in no way guaranteed to win our remaining matches.

At this point 6th place is the most likeliest finish.

If there's three Europa league places next season and City get fourth then 7th is good enough for Europe next season with Spurs and Villa. Unless we lose to Fulham and/or West Ham at home and Chelsea I can't see Everton overtaking us for 7th.

I think fourth will get less than 70 points (the most we can get), so if we did win our last 5 games I think we would get 4th. Whether we can win those 5 games with our managers eyes fixed more and more on the Europa League is another matter.

Its very possible that they will drop 7 points mate...

They still have to play Arsenal, Villa, Man U and Tottenham.
