With City though Mick they are a team going through a rapid evolution. I'm sure they will go on another mad spree in the summer and will be even stronger next season.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Spurs got tanked 3-1 at Sunderland with the Home team missing two penalties, so they are hardly World beaters in my book. Villa got beat 7-1 in their last league game but one, while City can get beat Home and Away by Everton, as well as dropping points anytime anywhere.

This group of Liverpool players, if properly managed, would be well clear of all those teams in my opinion. Despite the chronic displays of mismanagement which we are now seeing on a weekly basis, I still think we'll have enough quality to capitalise on the inevitable feck ups those three will make. If Rafa stopped trying to be a tactical genius and just picked his best team and went for it, I'm pretty sure we'd get there.

Its quite embarrassing Mick....... we are the ones with rose tinted glasses now mate  :D

Makes my stomach churn but the way things are going I'm going to end up hoping Utd stuff City in the derby in a few weeks.

The problem is, nothing I've seen from us, especially away from home suggest that we'll do it. It wouldn't surprise me if we went to Burnley and drew 0-0 or something ridiculous in a few weeks.

I dont think Tottenham are going to win many of their remaining games and Villa are in very poor form at the moment. Im worried most about Man City because they are capable of beating tougher opposition with the quality they have in their squad.

I think its between us and Man City at the moment

Unlikely. Much more likely is your Uncle would have been inadvertantly involved in a lengthly homosexual relationship with a cruel hoaxter. That said, I do take your point though in all fairness.

I've managed to remain pretty optimistic until today but have finally had my vote. Not a chance :(

Its Citys to lose, for a club like ours at this stage of the season hoping the likes of Villa and Spurs to mess up so we can scrape 4th is a disgrace

4th? We'll be lucky to finish 6th. As it is, if Villa win their game in hand, they'd be in front of us. The other teams in front also have a game in hand, and while no team is exactly high on momentum at the moment, the worst thing is neither are we. And it does not help when the players also seem perplexed by Rafa's decisions. Look at Gerrard's face when Torres was substituted. He have no clue why that is happening.

The main thing for me is this. All levels of the club are in a mess. From the manager, to the coach, to the players, to the board.

Its easy to blame the state of the club on one level but lets be honest. On all levels, from the playing staff to the board. Watching Liverpool is painful viewing. For me, if rafa remains in charge, this club is going nowhere. If our current american friends remain as owners, we are going nowhere. Its hard to put up with. But we have no choice but to persevere and hope. We are screwed on so many levels at this club its just not funny anymore.
