I wouldn't mind Newcastle, we have a good record against them. Birmingham has to be a good draw, regardless of our two shocking draws this seasons.

I want Chelsea.
Simply I don want to win the FA cup if we dont beat Chelsea.
I just want to see us giving them the stick for once this season.

its a tough one this year - i don't remember the last time it was only premiership teams in the last eight (though i'm sure one of the resident stattos will quickly remind me).

chelsea anyone?

Chelsea rode their luck vs Colchester, with Carvalho being the weakest link in that chain. Any team with their right mind would try to exploit it. Not only in this FA cup round has he produced a p1ss poor game, but many times this season I felt that he is dragging his team down. Without Terry, Chelsea are vulnerable. I just hope we don't have to play at the Mud Pit again this season. That pitch is disgraceful.

I would not like a Charlton match next up or Middlesborough. Simply because they have been bogey sides for us in recent seasons. Newcastle are a tricky prospect esp. with Owen coming back from injury. Now that Souness has been given the @rse, I wouldn't particularly want a match up with them either.

Villa at home, with LFC winning 2-0, Garcia and Kewell scoring.

I agree its funny how the premiership teams have risen above lower league opposition this year....................cant remember the last time it happened that their is no championship or Div 1
team in the quarters.

Would really like Chelski at home and get rid of them, I really think this is our year.

Whoever it is, I hope it isn't Chelsea. The final has us against them written all over it and stopping them doing the double at the last hurdle would be very sweet. Since the FA and Man U colluded to rinse the competition of it's stature the Cup has struggled a bit to capture the imagination. It needs a great final and as the two best teams in the competition, it would be fitting if we met up there.
