No need mate , as a kid growing up on on the banks of the Mersey I often heard Liverpool refered to as "The Capital of Ireland " Two of my auntie's married Irish fella's (both diamond's). All scousers know that all right minded Irish follow LFC . We in turn still cherish the memories of the great Irish lads that have worn the red shirt of LFC.

Walk On.    :)   :buttrock

Scratch yer average Scouser and you'll find a bit of Ireland in there somewhere .  :D

Cheers for those comments woof woof.  Enjoy the victory parade.  I'd love to be there but have to settle for watching it on the telly.  Although, having Kelly Dalglish presenting it is a consolation.  Shes gorgeous.

He's not IRISH. He is SOUTHEAST ASIAN.

Further, he is just an idiot. And those come from every country.

It is a source of pride that Irish players have played a role in many of Liverpools greatest victories.  I don't know what drugs irish toffee is on but it's obvious he is a few cans short of a 6 pack if he thinks Everton are the better team on merseyside.  In a way I fear for Everton.  Undoubtedly, by their standards they have had a great season but after putting so much energy into reaching 4th place I feel nexyt year will be an anti climax for them.  Expect them to be strugling in the bottom half of the table after being dumped out of europe.

Being irish, i feel the same way.

A friend of mine is a blue and he always gives me a good slaggin when liverpool loose and vice versa when everton loose but he text me last night to congratulate me.

Irish toffee is just talkink sh*t. Its called sour grapes

Ask yourselves this, if you were in the competition this year would you had knocked out Leverkusen,Juventus,Chelsea and come back from being three goals down at half-time? No you wouldn't. Therefore Liverpool is superior than Everton.

We got five and you got how many? Thats what I thought. I hope you live in bitterness for the rest of your life.

Ah so three points in the league is better than winning the champions league.

Typical Everton fan. Doesn't have a clue to how big a win it was.

My friend if finishing 4th in the prem is mre important to you than winning the champions league, then i'd have to say before you condem the win and say how everton are better than liverpool because they scraped there way to 3 more point than liverpool over the course of a season were they undoubtably well over achieved (respect to David Moyes and Tim Cahill). I would also like to mention the small fact that everton have never won the cup that we fought so bravely for last night. So dont think for one second that everton finishing 1 place above liverpool by 3 points and when liverpool have had a season of a stupid amount of injuries (dont give me bullcrap about claiming injuries dont count or anything like that) all everton have proved is that they finished higher than our second team. Everton have had no significant injures this season (apart from coke head beatie lol) there isnt enough room for me to type our ist of injuries. So if i were you i'd go and bury your head in the sand like you have done for the past 10 years and not try and say stupid and idiotic things about liverpool. No go away and drink yourself sane.

just a few questions:

how many times in the past 15 years has everton finished above liverpool
how many trophys have everton won in the past 15 years
what was evertons goal difference this season
and who :censored: ****** everton 7-0 towards the end of this season
and how many players on the everton squad are internationals (for decent countrys)

to sum up i think that you are a typical everton fan in that you are so bitter and warped that you think 4th place in the prem is better than winning the champs league. I shake my head at you and hope the medication the doctor gives you will do the trick. Now go and find the everton rock crawl under it and wait til everton actually achieve something, like win a cup.

Irish Toffee wrote:In saying that, I'd just like you to think about this for one second: Greece win the European Cup, does that make them the best footballing nation in Europe? Of course not... Likewise, Liverpool win the Champions League, does that make them the best club in Europe? Not a chance!!!!!

Maybe or maybe not!!!

the issue here is that you are jealous !!!!
I am a southend supporter and i can look at this from a neutral point of view, The only reason that Everton finnished above Liverpool in the League is that the reds concentrated more on winning the champions league and proved last night that you dont need to win the league to be the best team in europe!!!
I bet you anything you like that no other english team would come back from 3-0 down at Ht to beat a side like AC Milan!!
Liverpool are the masters in Europe , coz they know how to win them type of games, where was Arsenal then, they've done sod all in europe and so have Man utd !!!
Chelsea were close, probably would've done better if they knew where the goal was!!
To win european competitions you need to be class away from home for starters, I can only recall the reds losing in monaco!!
come next season Liverpool will be well and truely up for a title challenge as this victory would've lifted the troops !!!
Rafa is a world class manager and there will be more top trophies on the way !!!
I can assure you!!
