Do hard tackles make hard men. - Will carragher become a harder player

It's sad to see Jamie and Milan injured. The pair of them must be distraught by it all.  We can Blame Neill and Babble for the tackles all day but the truth is 'thats football'  Sorry to say but I've seen worse.  Souness for instance used to run around making tackles that would have made Chopper Harris Skirm.   I'm not saying that dirty play is acceptable but I wish sometimes that we had a tempered cruncher in the middle of the park.  I like many of you have watched Carragher in particular grow and learn from every experience so I hope that he recovers because If he does I think he'll be a harder player for it.  I was thinking does getting hurt make you harder or do you lose something.  Many of you have watched Liverpool over the years so you must have seen hard tackles so does getting kicked make you harder.
