think there is still a debate on about it. Cyprus seems the sensible option, thats what ManUre did (last year i think)

The problem with cyprus is there are quite a lot of lebanese refugees there..and i cant see U.E.F.A. sanctioning that option?...more likely either Holland or Slovenia. ???

so what? israel won't bomb cyprus? and the lebanese refugees won't bomb cyprus because they are only citizens trying to stay in cyprus in order to go to another country. Cyprus is perfectly safe.

What you have ask yourself is...how do the Israeli team feel about playing there amongst all those Lebanese? ???

Honestly, nothing! Maccabi Haifa wouldn't care if there are lebanese people in cyprus! they would care that Cyprus is safe.

If I'm not wrong, UEFA is suppose to decide few days before the game where it's suppose to be (which is hard for the fans to arrange a good deal to fly to Israel or someplace else)
The day before the draw UEFA said that at the moment the game will be IN Israel, but until the game everything can happen...

And about Cyprus, I don't think it's the best idea, if Lebanese people or Israeli people will see each other (which probebly will happen), someone, Israeli or Lebanese, will say the wrong word and a fight will start between the 2 sides...
I believe and hope that the game will be played in Israel and untill the game the war will end or cool down...
