Wow what a draw. As this club is well aware if you want to win this trophey you have to beat whos in front of you.

They will be 2 tough games but I think if we prepare in the right manner and stay injury free there is no reason why we cannot beat them.

im expecting Rafa to really do his homework for this tie.

I am fu.ck.ing buzzing with that draw. Shades of our "impossible" draw in 2004-2005 against Juve.

All we need now is some smart ar.se comments in the press fro mthe Barca players about it being a cake walk for Rafa to pin up in the dressing room before the game and we are away.
Booked to fly from Heathrow for our kid and that for Tuesday to Thursday. Appy Days.

i Think that if has one Team that is capable , and really capable to win a game against Barcelona, this team are us. i'm really happy to get Barcelona now, because after this crucial match we will get strong enought to win the league.

just the draw i expected , cant wait for it. eto and messi according to reports from spain will make the second leg but are unlikely to play in the first although eto is making better progress than expected. i dont care if they do or dont play both legs ( although it would be nice if they made it, just so we dont get any excuses about not having a full team when we knock them out

) if kanoute can make their deffence look like muppets imagine what kuyt,bellamy,crouch or fowler will do. this is what we are about facing the best teams in the best european competition im going for a 0-0 in the nou and the job finished at anfield. number 6 here we come :buttrock

Hola.. I've been a Barcelona fan since I was inside my mum's womb and I also have been a big Rafa Benitez fan since his Valencia days (I was extremely happy when his Valencia paychecks were bouncing at the bank and there were rumours he would coach my beloved team). I followed his career at Liverpool from his first year there, and have always wished him lots of success.

Rafa's Valencia beat Barcelona more than once when he was the manager. I still wish Rafa success, but not at the expense of my team (in all honesty, Liverpool needs a couple of more players to challenge Barcelona). This matchup should have been the final game of the season...
