Guardiola wouldn't get 90 points never mind 97 with our squad, pound for pound Jurgen is the best manager in world football

Jurgen has been hinting that we'll have a quiet summer this year which I hope is not true, we are not the finished article yet and as good as we've been we still finished behind a City side that was without its best player for most of the season.

This City side is difficult to come with and I'm sure they will splash the cash again this summer. Benchmark is 100 points so we will have to be near perfection IF we want to be champions.
We will need to also strengthen our squad and get rid of some deadwood.

Moreno, Lallana, Sturidge, Lovren... I'd make some money on them and ship them out.

I'd keep experienced players like Hendo and Milner. You need those lads during the season. Their experience and drive makes the difference at times.

Yep, the bar this City side have set over the past 2 seasons has been ridiculously high, draws are pretty much as good as a loss now. We need to add more creativity/firepower to our MF because it's no longer about limiting the number of games you lose anymore it's all about how many games you win.

Rumour Klopp's been offered a 5 year 10 million euros a year extension (end 2024).  He's worth every penny, let's hope he signs.

I meant I'm not sure we can win it with money bags man City in our way. They will be just as strong for the next 2/ 3 seasons I'm sure. And we will need close to 100 points these days to pull it off, as City have set the benchmark that high.

Hope so Reg. If you ask me he deserves twice that pay...

Talk of banning City for one year from the CL due to their indiscretions.

Well the premier league is investigating so who knows. The sanctions are from UEFA and they’ll recommend. I think frankly if they were caught circumventing the rules then they cheated and why should they be rewarded for cheating. I’m not sure how strong the FFP rules are enforced in England as it seems more like a European issue.

They laughed in the face of a £49m fine last time so clearly fining them is a waste of time. City have abused the rules for too long and should be punished in a way that will really hurt them. Docking points and banning them from competitions is the only effective type of punishment.
