how did we end up with Europa league football this season by virtue of finishing 7th? was it because of the fair play league?

We got the spot Pompey were forced to give up.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

We are playing like a CL-team at the moment but it will probably be a little bit to late. Wish Daghlish would have been here earlier.

Its still possible but why do I have this awful and ironic feeling. That game against Roys West Brom will be seen  in post season review as spanner in the works during the King's reign

We need them to draw one and lose two or lose all three

And of course we have to win all our remaining games........

I think not

I'm under the impression that if man c beat stoke in the fa cup final, Stoke will need Man city to finish in the champs league spot to ensure they themselves can get into the eufa cup, and guess what? Stoke play man city away after the final.  :(

F'uckin' disgrace that.

Let's not get cynical here.

It's only unfortunate now, now that we actually have a chance for a fourth place finish. Back when the game got rearranged no one would of though we actually had a chance.

It's hardly a stitch up is it.

Harry's pretty much declared his lack of interest in the EL. I expect City to win

What is everyone hoping for tonight?  I dont know what to think...
I kinda want Spurs to win and that will keep alive our tiny CL hopes.  But if Spurs win it could make it difficult for us to get 5th spot and EL football.  Are we guaranteed EL football if we finish 5th?

This is kinda like an episode of Who wants to be a millionaire!  We could aim high and end up with Nothing at all or hope that City win and be happy to walk away with what we have.  :D

agree and who thought we would be even in this position now?.
i seriously doubt the wheels are gonna fall off city but am happy in the fact that we progressed from roy's tenure and have hauled ourselves back up the table and gave ourselves a chance of 4th and i feel we will just miss out.
there are plenty of positives to the way we are finishing out the season and i cant wait till the next one starts.

We live in hope but it would take a monumental swing in our favour if it was to happen. Miracles do happen though. Just great to be even talking about it though :)
