Incredible performance by the kid...  U.S golf seems on a down which is too bad for me, but he's just going straight thru everybody.

Europe are really starting to pull ahead in golf, especially Britain.  Westwood, Poulter, Donald, McIlroy, McDowell.  Really doing well.

Awesome display by McIlroy this week.  More to come from him hopefully.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Had a great round today on a really easy course.  Shot -7 for 64.  Lost by one shot.  I made bogey on the ninth hole (had a 7 foot slider for par and lipped it out.  If I'd have won I'd have gotten a seat in the US Amateur.  I didn't, so will have to qualify through stroke play.

Feck dude, didnt realise you were so good. Im poor, too incosistent. Can get onto the green on a par 5 in 3, then 4 or 5 putt! Then a par 3 takes me 6 or  to get on sometimes. I get the occasional birdie and a load of pars but way too inconsistent

Like I said, it was a ver easy course.  Not only was it an easy course but the greens were soft but true. it was like throwing darts that day.  I've in the past gotten to the Qurter finals of the US Am in the past but not gotten any further.

The course where the US Am will be held this year suits me to a T and if i end up getting there I like my chances. Long way to go though to get there.

The thing that really got me screwed in the head when I got the the QF was thinking ahead.  I started thinking of the automatic spot in the Masters and the Open Championship and the US Open.

I'm going to do my best and just try to keep the later events aside and try to focus on the task at hand.

Time for one of the best and most illustrious sports event in the world

The one and only true Open .

It's looking like it's going to be brutal out there with the hard ground and wind causing havoc .

Sorry to hear that Ben :D

I got Anders Hansen

But have put bets on Westwood , Donald , McIlroy and Garcia to win and each way bets on Wood, Day , Kuchar and Watney
