i wouldnt be that long off the tee as i have a low trajectory, my driver carries maybe 220 - 230 and depending on the day(centre of fairway helps) spills out maybe 50-60. where i play is right alongside the sea and man does the wind get up, and having a low ball flight means it isnt hanging there and coming back to you.

Quite good distances !! I know pros playing off plus figures that would be happy with  Stu's distances. Stu will be telling us next: "and that's into a fkg howling gale mate"  !! Sorry Stu only joking. If you are regular hitting those distances then there is not a lot wrong that a decent pro couldn't sort out but remember most of them carry bullshit detectors these days

I play with another lad who hits three twenty and three thirty regularly and f*ck me... when he hits a ball it looks like its in the air forever. Can drive greens on short par fours too. Great to watch, especially when I birdie a hole with an iron, wedge and putter and he's drove the green and came off with par :D

You'll laugh at me when I post them as I've only played pitch and put...

The best I've shot is about a +25. The worst... Let's just say more than 25  :D  I started actually golfing after only practicing for a month or so. I've gotten a few birdies, some pars, and a whole lot of everything else! Even on the pitch and puts I'd struggle to hit the green on quite a few just due to distances.

Distance isn't the problem Benny... I an out hit most of the single figures players. Easily as long as some lads who are off four and three. Its just hitting the f*cking thing straight and hitting fairways, being able to regularly get off the tee, not hitting duffs or tops etc

Getting birdies is quite satisfying. Had three in one round, shot a 78... thought I was goin to turn pro after that. Then it bites you in the ***** and you go back to shootin mid nineties  :wwww

What sort of scores do you normally shoot?

Worst, best average etc?

I can play to about seven or eight, but also twenty eight... my last seven rounds have been 78, 99, 83, 106, 91, 78, 89 :D
