I'll be rooting for Spain, if they are out then Portugal, if they are out, well I guess I have some German blood in me so I'd root for them, plus I like Podolski.

Obviously Spain, due to our players and also i always enjoy watching them.
Any players we have playing though like Babel and Kuyt for Holland and will be wanting them to do well.

I wonder if I'll see Spain making to a semifinal -- let alone winning anything, before my retirement with 65 years.

:D

Come on Fernando, change our fate :D

I put money on Spain for every tournament, surely they will click some time.  Maybe Sabre can confirm but a Spanish guy told me once its because they dont feel like a country and thats the reason for underperforming.

I also like the Dutch and look forward to some huge argument in the camp about something petty that wrecks their campaign :D

Four years ago my bird got Greece in her sweepstake at work and I laughed at her  :D

I disagree the reason of underperforming is related to national feelings.

We haven't won anything either because we were not good enough, or we hadn't the proper winner mind, but the likes of Alonso or Puyol play with the same intensity or more than the likes of Raul or Morientes.

Taff mate, I like you. Don't waste your money. Don't bet on my country  :D

When you look at the main countries in Europe dont you think that Spain has underachieved.  I just keep thinking they will click one tournament and win.

They have a talented squad and a competitive league.  I think England have underachieved but they have 1966 and some close moments like 1990 and 1996 where they looked like genuine contenders. Spain have never had this.

Sabre I like you as well but its too late Ive wasted money on Spain since the late eighties :D

Either BBC or ITV should use this as the EURO 2008 theme:

Italy and Switerland. My wife´s a Wop and my sons were born in Switzerland.

I prefer the World Cup when we have 4 choices - England, Italy, Switzerland and Brazil, where we live !!
