I think Crouch has more chance of finishing top scorer, and he's not even going.  :D

So you'll cheer them even when they score an own goal?

El Pepe has difficult to play. He played against Northern Ireland, and another couple of games, but the place seems secured for Casillas.

Pepe was a bit nervous with the Spanish squad. He's a good keeper, and he knows it, but I feel he has a point to prove in Spain yet due to not being given confidence in Barcelona. And somehow that personal pressure has hindered him a bit when he's given a chance. Not that he has conceded ridiculos goals, but in some aerial balls that maybe are too difficult for the keeper and should have stay under the sticks, he tried the imposible and spectacular jump failing.

Alonso will play more. Aragones, unlike the english manager, divides the midfielders in two roles, holding midfielders, and attacking midfielders.

Alonso competes in the first role with Albelda.

Iniesta, Xavi and Cesc (Fabregas is known here that way) are competing for two or three places on front of the holding midfielder.

I say two or three, because last games Aragones has played with one striker instead of two, and for what is worth, the experiment has gone well by beating Denmark away and Sweden at home 3-0.

So if he keeps to the experiment, Torres will have a close fight with Villa for the lone striker position. If we play 2 strikers, he'll play no matter what.

Little Luis seem to have lost all possibilities of coming back to the national squad since he left Liverpool. It's a prove that Liverpool is a big club.
