What was it... the 5th minute or something... Ref didnt realize it was just a friendly... hardly worth a red card anyways....
Inter were impressive though... Some of their kids are brilliant and they played some decent stuff against a shiite City side...

I think Inter will win the league again... Hard to see anyone competing against them with the players they have being much better than anything the Italian league has to offer... Milan dont have the funds to renovate a squad that is in desperate need of an overhaul.. Juventus dont have the players or the manager to go far... Roma have some quality players but dont/havent have/had the funds to improve their squad past a certain level...

I dont think they'll be winning the CL again... Rafa is a good manager in knockout competitions but if they come up against decent opposition (Barce, Real, Chelsea, ManU) they'll struggle imo...

Anyways.. best of luck Rafa.. break a leg  :lookaround

Whenever his teams have come up against the supposed "better" opposition in a two legged tie he has come up trumps and beaten the likes of Madrid,Chelsea and Barce and IMO i think Inter have a great chance to retain the CL .

Agreed. The CL is what they crave the most, Inter want to get out of AC's shadow and winning European Cups will help them do that. In Rafa they have one of the best managers around when it comes to European knockout competition.

"The experience in Liverpool has been fantastic, with the club, especially with the fans and players. Six years is long time, an experience never to be forgotten"

Latest on Rafa's Inter from the Inter site

BARI - Inter outplayed Juventus at the Stadio San Nicola and then beat AC Milan on penalties with six Under-18 players on the pitch. Rafael Benitez is a happy man and he explained why on Inter Channel.

"It's always important to win, even if these tournaments are of relative importance," said the Spanish coach. "We did very well in the first match against Juventus. The second with Milan was different, with two very long teams and many youngsters on the pitch.

"Milito and Eto'o didn't play together? They both arrived back yesterday after national team duty and we didn't have any strikers who could stay on the pitch for ninety minutes, so we chose to play them separately. Will Sculli arrive now Balotelli has left? We have won this small tournament. There's time for the market, we will talk about it at a later date...

There is a lot of speculation but nothing concrete to base it on just yet ..... do you rate this Sculli from Genoa and is he in the Mascherano mould   ???

Genoa president said Sculli would stay

I don't know if Mascherano could arrive, Moratti won't spend a lot of money this and next year (Financial Fair Play).

We need a midfielder and a winger. For a midfielder Inter think at Mascherano, Ledesma or one of ours young players (Obiorah). For the winger only Sculli and Kuyt...

I don't want Kuyt to replace Balotelli, he is a fantastic player but he is 31 :(
