draw or Japan win would really take the heat off Australia tonight.

Robert Kovac just got carded and will be suspended against Australia, big loss.

0-0 half time.

Fairly even but Croatia do look stronger. Japan needs to hand on and not fade like they did against Oz.

Croatia looked lazy and uninspired. Could they honestly be relying on Brazil to beat Australia and then take max. points from us to make the final 16?? If that's the case then they are bloody mad!!!

I cant believe that to be the case, surely its more likely they were so worried about losing that they tightened up but i guess you never now. If that was the strategy , I certainly think its a flawed one

Good result for Australia and Croatia are definitely beatable.  Once again, Srna was poor.  I'm glad his name hasn't been linked to us much of late!

Srna is defintely NOT a penalty taker. In the same catagory as the V-Bomber (Viduka) I think.

The match was boring, you mean mate? 

Yes, I agree it was a bit slow and both teams really struggled in the heat by the end. 

Oh, and if Oasis is reading this, Zico (the Japanese coach) has complained about the heat and having to play two afternoon games, so it's not just England who are talking about the heat.  :D
