Boom! 3 points.

Back into 2nd place and 4 points ahead of Spuds in 4th.

What a match from start to finish!
The bitters will feel they should have scored in the 1st half, but we weathered the storm.
The game needed a touch of quality and Sturridge (Klopp made the change when needed) was there to make it happen...
Text book anticipation by Mane to seal a well fought and well earned 3 points!
The lads will be shattered and sore after this one...
WE GO AGAIN!

Hope Klopp gives Danny the credit for his work today. Worked hard and got us the goal. He deserves a start next week.

Everton came to make that ugly and kicked us at every opportunity. We held our nerve and finally nicked one at the end. Hardest 3 points we'll have to work for all season.

Great result and will be a platform for us to compete this season.

Surprised this thread is only 4 pages long when arguably this is a most important win of the season so far (outside beating Chelsea away).

F**K Barkley, the studs in diving thug nose c**t. Hendo finally stood up, when it counted.

F**k your "lets run as hard as we can for the first 30 mins and then park the bus in the 2nd half" strategy

F**K this forever bitter side, you will always be a SMALL club.

We go on and on........

What a second half performance! Not many teams go to Goodison and win (in fact that's their first home defeat since March) and especially when Everton's players and crowd are up for it like that. We showed real character there and more than deserved the 3 points.

Everton made that very difficult for us but in all honesty they hardly had a shot on goal.

We weren't at our best but we showed some massive determination especially in the second half. Thank gawd for Danny and the speed of Sadio. Thought Klopp was very late to change things but he just got away with it.

Huge 3 points. Season defining? Who knows.

Work tomorrow but f##k it i'm having a few tins after that.

Deserved win. Barkley should've been off. Good impact Sturridge. Great wee finish Sadio.

6 points and Chelsea to come to Anfield. I'll take that.

YNWA.

Fair dues to Lovren and Klavan as well, that's 2 clean sheets in 2 games now (both away from home too)

Horrible time for the match to be played in my timezone, 7:00am, kick off with work in the morning!!!

Us poor LFC supporters in the southern hemisphere have to resort to live text and furious alt-tab'n when the boss walks past!

I thought we had drawn the game at 93 mins but Mane had other ideas!!

Don't get why FA accepts referee decisions like the Barkley tackle as final.

He should be suspended for an appropriate amount of time, plain and simple.

In the back on my mind at 95 mins sitting at 0-1, my brain was telling me "we can still lose, we can still lose this..."

This has made my week  ...........
