Cisse off? - Should we sell him?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I'm a Cisse fan, he is in my humble opinion the best striker we have at the moment (which isn't saying much I know... ??? ). His reaction at City on saturday was way out of line, after the change we scored...something he had failed to do.

I'm a fan of Cisse but i'm also fed up at how our strikers are consistently under performing. What happened to the days of Fowler & Owen, reliable scorers!

I think selling Cisse in January is a majorly bad idea, go ahead and buy another striker but don't sell your top scorer. He value is not going to drop before the end of the season, bar another leg break.

I say keep him, at least until the end of the season. If the right offer comes in then consider selling if an adaquate replacement is available.

He is shocking in my eyes mate. His attitude stinks he is a very arogant as a person, I honestly believe he thinks he is a quality player, I heard this somewhere the other day, Henry is quality, Zidane is quality these are quality, and they have a strut about there arrogance and quite rightly so, but cisse no way he struts about as if he is some world class player and has a right to be playing week in week out.

Where is his quality apart from his pace, he has nothing ability on the ball nothing he is very voom, but he has no va va voom. Crouch needs a goal and i feel it in my bones tonight is the night, then they will fly in. But cisse as our best striker no way he has a few goals, but overall crouch has impressed me his link up with the others has been superb. Cisse is no team player so come january i think rafa will try his best to offload him. But by  summer he will be gone. crouch to score 2 tonight in a 3.0 win.Come on you beautys!!!!!!!!!!

I'd sell Cisse, but not in December, ann I'd sell him at the right price. Normally in december you don't get people that is on the starting eleven of other teams, you get people that has not shown what they can do, or are at the bench.

In my view, the winter transfer windows are only for when you're on blatant need of signing in one team (injuries, blatant lack of a position). I don't see any good known striker that might come in winter window transfer, and if it comes, it will be expensive, it's always more expensive to buy in winter than in summer. Another option is to bring an unknown player, but then that's a lottery, and I'd rather preffer Cisse than a lottery.

SO I'd wait to summer to sell him, unless someone comes with the right price, *and* we're able to get a decent striker

No way stoney tonight is the night its Sunderland and crouchy will be even more pumped up to get that goal especially against them. No disrespect against sunderland but he has been playing well, and he will no what a chance tonight to open his account. He deserves it his play of late has been quite unreal at times his touch for a dwarf is superb. These goals will be the start of many because tonight is the night crouchy will start his goal feast.

Firstly crouchie ain't gonna score 'cos he's been subbed.
I personally think that even if rafa is saying differently the writing is on the wall for cisse seein as how he's been dropped from the squad tonight. he'll probably get another chance in the team but i think there'll have to be a massive improvement from him goalscoring and attittude wise. Whether he goes in january or the summer i couldn't really say but it's only a matter of when and not if IMO.

The club wouldn't even entertain offers that low. We're looking for investment and after all the feckin payoffs to houlliers bunch i can't see the club writing off £11 million.

You are stupid if you think there will be big money offers coming for Cisse in january. Those 14 millions are sunk and should not influence future decisions. The going rate for Cisse would be about £ 3-4 millions and we should take it if offered. At least that is better than having to accomodate a big headed ego

He's an international player for France so he's obviously got taleny and he's young. So he was angry at getting subbed in one game we have to sell him.Every player gets annoyed at some time or another and its not as if hes gone public and said anything.

Sell Cisse.....No chance unless we can make a profit
