Returning back to his high intensity pressing/passing philosophy is the only way he's going to win those supporters back imo, I sense the Norwich performance (not the result, the performance) has been a massive step in the right direction though.

Your last sentence sums it up for me, Yakka. It's what I meant by we're a nursery team. 3 years down the line and a decent performance against Norwich is a step in the right direction. The owners let this man play around like its a computer game. Can't we get a real manager and start competing again? I'm 38! I don't have time to wait for Brendan to get up to speed.

Reina's comments about Rafa being the best manager he'd ever worked with obviously pi[ss]ed Brendan off too.
Maybe Brendan should have been a bit more pragmatic though, imo Mingolet is probably a better shot stopper than Reina but the style of footy we play almost demands that we have a keeper who is comfortable with his feet.
It's not that Mingolet is a bad keeper, he isnt, it's just that stylistically he's probably not the best match for us.

I saw reasonable debate on RAWK. There are alot of posters who saw positives with the Norwich game despite the result...
