Winning trophies is what it's all about, McDermott is spot on with this comments. 4th is not an achievement, ask Arsenal supporters who are desperate for some silverware in their cabinet if 4th is a success. 4th from a business point of view is a success from a business perspective, from a supporters perspective, it means you're the 4th best team in the league. It's a hardly the cause to get the party poppers out and the Caterpillar cake from Sainsbury's.
What you say there is completely contradictory, how can you be pleased that the MD speaks in a completely business sense in terms of top four priority and in the same f*cking sentence claim that "4th is not an achievement" and that "winning trophies is whats its all about?" Are you high?
